Client has a Health insurance application as the core IT system and they wanted to implement Documentum as a document management solution to enhance the capability of their Health insurance application. Documentum was integrated with insurance application to facilitate the scanning, indexing and storing of policy documents like application form, address proof, customer photograph etc. Documentum was used as a repository to store and manage the documents and Health Insurance application was used to provide the interface for viewing documents.
