Each sprint is followed by a sprint review. During this review, the software developed in the previous sprint is reviewed and new backlog items are added if required. The characteristics of sprint review are:

• The whole team and product management participates in the sprint review.
• The reviewers consist of project stakeholder, managers, and developers. It can also include customers, sales, and marketing.
• Sprint review covers functional and executable systems that include the objects assigned to the review team. They also include the changes made to implement the backlog items.
• Backlog is compared with the developed software.
• New backlog items can be introduced and assigned to the teams based on the review.
• The time of the next review is determined based on the review progress and complexity. The sprints normally have a time period of 1 to 4 weeks.
• Sprint review activities are repeated until the product is ready for distribution by the project stakeholders. Then the project goes into the closure phase where the product is made ready for release and distribution.
