An automatic school timetable generator where the user needs to provide inputs and preferences on Subjects, Periods, and Teachers. A timetable is generated automatically for the most possible preference. We used the genetic algorithms to create the best possible timetable meeting for the most possible preference.

Genetic algorithms are categorized as global search heuristics. Genetic algorithms are a particular class of evolutionary algorithms that use techniques inspired by evolutionary biology, such as inheritance, mutation, selection, and crossover (also called recombination).
