A web application developed for a life insurance company, which mainly deals with Burial Insurance Policies. It is used by the employees of the company to manage the information related to burial insurance policies, claims, premiums, agents, and commissions. It is also used to maintain the records of persons, who purchased a fixed term amount insurance policy to guarantee that the burial expenses will be recovered when the insured dies. In addition, the application produces the reports for all policy information, claims, premium, and agents in PDF format.

Modules

• Policy Management: This module manages the policies sent by Funeral Homes, Branch Funeral Homes, General Agents, or Sub Agents. The policy can be a joint policy holding the information of the spouse.
  This modules also manages the information related to premium payment for the policy. The premium payer can be any other person holding the policy.
• Claim Management: Manages the claims that can be paid / denied on the basis of terms and conditions specified for a particular plan or will be paid only if the status of the policy is dead.
• Pan Management: Manages the new plans introduced by company having commission details and information about calculation of commission. The commission will be flat or slab.
• User Management: This module manages the information related to the policy users. The user can be an Agent, Funeral Home, Agent of a Funeral Home, Sub Agents of Funeral Home/General Agent. All the users have individual rights accordingly.
• Rights Management: Manages the rights of administrator, employees, and agents.
• • Only administrator can introduce new Plans, New Users (Funeral Home, General Agents or Sub Agents). They can also update/delete a particular policy.
  • Only the company employees have the rights to submit a policy in the system.
  • Agents have the rights to view a policy and related Information.

• • Imports premium payment for policies from files sent by Agents/Funeral Homes.
  • Exports all/new Policies for General Agents/Funeral Homes.
• Reports: Maintains the reports for all policy information, claims, premium, users, and agents in PDF format.
